Teens are invited to compete at their 1st Annual Gingerbread House Competition. You’ll have two hours to build your best gingerbread structure using our cookies, frosting, and sugary goodies. Categories will be: most traditional, most original, and most artistic, and there will be prizes for the winners. Come show us what you—or, rather, the house of your dreams—is made of.
Grades 7-12; must show school or other valid ID. Free but Reservations required to ensure ample supplies. Call 510-881-7946 or email annie.snell@hayward-ca.gov for information or to reserve your spot, or just talk to a librarian the next time you drop by the library.
