Well, here is something you don’t see every day. ArtSoFFT presents a TED-style talk followed by a teleportation demo, Q&A, and afterparty social. Guest speaker Dr. Tongcang Li (Purdue University) will be live in person at Stanford, attempting to make a living organism exist at two places at the same time via quantum superposition. He will be the first person in history to do so, with implications for whole humanity.
Free, but due to a popular demand, the event might be guestlist only. If they reach more than 200 people, the guestlist may be enforced. Please comment with your name on the Facebook event if you want to be on the guestlist. Please note: Video recording of this event is strictly prohibited.
Say whaaaat?
Teleportation, according to Dr. Li, is already possible and if he is successful in putting a living organism in 2 places at the same time, it will change humanity forever. Imagine that you can teleport from Stanford to London? Or teleport from Stanford to the moon? Irony is that most think this is science fiction, but consider the facts:
Fact 1: Matter already can exist in two places at the same time.
Fact 2: Scientists agree that putting a living organism in 2 places at the same time is already possible; it is just that nobody has ever attempted to do it.
