Event Details

This series, scheduled for the four first Tuesdays of 2016, January – April, investigates their reticence to discuss the one thing you all have in common: death. Denial and magical thinking won’t wish it away, acknowledging its inevitability will free you to embrace life to its fullest.

Attend one or all of the programs to begin to demystify that mysterious “awfully big adventure” that awaits all. The first program is Approaches to Death. Join them when Sheila Himmel, author of Changing the Way We Die, Nate Hinerman, author of The Presence of the Dead in Our Lives, Randy Reitzes from Hospice by the Bay and Roy Remer of the Zen Hospice Center discuss different approaches to death.
