CANCELLED “The Dirty Show” Comedy Night | SF

Produced by three of San Francisco’s favorite comedians: Zack Chapaloni, Joe Gorman and Joey Avery;  Kozy Kar presents The Dirty Show.

This standup comedy show features a wide variety of all types of humor, combining local and television talent at 8 pm every first Wednesday at Kozy Kar Bar (1548 Polk St.).

Oh, and there’s porn all over the bar, so try to focus. Best of all, there’s no cover. 21+

This Month’s Special Guest: Jesse Fernandez

Jesse Fernandez is an 12-year comedian as well as a writer and producer for AJ+’s hit political comedy show, Newsbroke. He’s written for The Onion Inc. Network, the funniest parts of certain TED Talks, eBaum’s World (yes, they’re still around), and teaches stand-up comedy at Google. He’s been featured in 9 SF Sketchfests, presented research at The International Society For Humor Studies Conference, and he’s won the Speechless improvised powerpoint competition and the National College Comedy Competition. Among the countless people he’s opened for as a stand-up are Maria Bamford (from Netflix’s Lady Dynamite), Andy Kindler (judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing), Mary Lynn Rajskub (from Fox’s 24), and even Steve-O (you know what he’s from).
