“The Promenade of Mermaids”: Flash Mob, Parade & Dance Party (Sac)

The Promenade of Mermaids – Friday May 15th – 4 PM to 7 PM

A Sacramento Tradition since 2012!
The Promenade of Mermaids helped build the California Mermaid Convention into what it is today. This FREE, family friendly celebration brings music, energy, life and color into Old Town Sacramento every year. Join us as we march the through the streets, smile and shout with merfolk joy!

Please dress in your favorite merfolk, nautical, pirate, sea creature or other watery costumes and apparel. We will have vendors on site, as well as games and activities. We will also be teaching a Flash Mob dance to all marches who would like to participate!

Small, hand wheeled carts are allowed to participate in the parade, but no large floats or vehicles please.

Bring your shell purse! Our wonderful selection of vendors will be selling their wares, and the shops in Old Town will have fin-tastic offerings for all.

Promenade FAQ
– This event takes place on Friday, May 15th from 5 PM – 7:30 PM

– The Promenade Marches from the Embarcadero in Old Town, Sacramento promptly at 6 PM

– This event is FREE to attend!

– Vendors from our Vendor Hall will be on site to sell their wares
