Sometimes a band comes along with a name that is just about perfect. We can’t think of a better name for the sloppy, garage rock style of Thelma and the Sleaze. They’re clever and oh so irreverent. Their music feels like rusted barbed wire ran down your back after a night of sweaty sex. But don’t be fooled by the grungy exterior, these ladies have amazing musical chops. They shred better than most of their male counterparts.
If you’re a fan of sharp rock and ass-kicking chicks, you better get yourself to this show. If not, they’ll come and find you.
