The A’s will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1989 World Series win and Baseball Oakland, Save Oakland Sports, Oakland Fan Pledge, and Oaklandish are teaming up to bring you an ’80s Throwback Tailgate party before the A’s game on July 19, 2014. They’ll start at 3 pm.
DJs Criddy and eazeYOURmind will be lasting all the hits from 1989, plus there will be a cornhole contest with Oaklandish giveaways including limited-edition event shirts.
There will be an ‘80s dress-up contest, and the winner will receive a $50 gift card to Oaklandish, so bust out your best, classic ’80s gear like those acid wash jeans, airbrushed overalls, and jean shorts.
