Timbuk2 Store Launch Party: Beer, Polka, Games & Discounts | SF

After 25 years of designing and building uber durable messenger bags, backpacks and bike accessories right here in the Mission, the folks at Timbuk2 are pumped to be opening the Timbuk2 Factory Store at 587 Shotwell Street.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

At the official launch party, they’ll celebrate in serious 1989 style in their newest and largest location.

Nightly festivities include:

• Skeeball (from Joey The Cat) tournament
• Live Polka cover band: Polkalicious
• Outdoor foosball and bean bag toss
• Button making (it’s not mandatory, but they highly recommend 10 pieces of flair)
• Locally brewed beers
• Test ride new electric bikes and more from San Francisco’s PUBLIC Bikes
• Adam’s Grub Truck will be parked right outside for serious night time bites
• Boozy factory tours: 6 and 7 pm
• Prizes and raffles from Timbuk2 and PUBLIC Bikes
• Customize a bag in-store: touch and feel the fabrics as you design
