Tortoise is a dub, rock, jazz, electronica band comprised of multi-instrumentalists Dan Bitney, John Herndon, Doug McCombs, John McEntire, and Jeff Parker. And by multi-instrumentalists we mean talented humans who play many instruments and by band we mean a bunch of folks who show up at the same place to play music at the same time as each other.
