Event Details

Be among the first to board Caltrain’s new, modern electric trains as we unveil the future of our service. Explore the spacious interiors, learn about the exciting new features, and get a glimpse of what Caltrain will be like in 2024. This is the second of three planned tours.

Join us for this free, family-friendly community event and enjoy the following:

  • Electric Train Tour (timed entry)
  • Caltrain Giveaways
  • Food Trucks
  • Games
  • Photo Booth
  • Art Demonstration by Eric Rewitzer from 3 Fish Studios, who created the artwork seen above
  • Community Resources

For more information, visit caltrain.com/electric-train-tour.

RSVP required. Attendees will be asked to select an entry time for the train tour. Activities outside the train tour will not require a timed-entry and are open to all from 10a-2p.

There will be an early entry option (9a-10a) for those needing additional assistance to board the train.

This is a non-smoking event.

Parking is extremely limited. We encourage all guests to take public transportation, walk, bike, or roll into the station.

Free Bicycle Valet will be provided by San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and will be located on Townsend Street near 5th Street. Both east and westbound bicycle lanes will be closed between 4th and 5th streets during the event. Please walk your bike when in the event area.

FREE. RSVP.
