The We Tree, by creatives Marisol MacGregor and Marie Applegate-Swanson, is a participatory tree decorating experience in reclaiming belonging to ourselves and each other.

“You only are free when you realize you belong no place — you belong every place — no place at all.” –Maya Angelou

Together, we’ll explore and respond to our personal and collective inner critical narratives. And as we share an experience of finding a kinder approach to our critical dialogue, we’ll remember, we’re all in this together.

Join us as we create art with trees (inspired by Avatar’s Tree of Souls), through gathering our stories at the Village Artist Corner. Come share, hug your shadows (and some trees), and belong!
