Halloween Block Party

Every Halloween, the neighbors on Belvedere Street (between 17th Street and Parnassus Avenue) transform their street into one of the city’s most well-known Halloween celebrations. More than just a simple neighborhood trick-or-treat, the houses are wildly decorated with ghouls and goblins, dropping spiders, flashing strobe lights and glowing jack-o-lanterns. The street is closed to traffic and is an incredibly popular spot to trick-or-treat. It’s also great for adults to come and enjoy the fun including the crazy costumed chartacters go-go dancing in the windows and the garage DJ parties.
