Join California Historical Society for a celebration and discussion of the famed and historic Modoc War translator, Toby Riddle with Charlene Jackson and Debbie Riddle, two of her descendants. Listen to Debbie, Charlene, and others as they talk about the examination of their family’s history through research, storytelling, oral history, and writing. Debbie will do a presentation on the history and legacy of Toby Riddle. Charlene will share personal anecdotes’ and images of the Riddle family.
