Ever get in the mood for something really different? Do modern mainstream films bore you to tears? Then maybe you’re ready for the work of Curt McDowell. This openly gay filmmaker made significant waves with this provocative and shocking films in the 60s and 70s. Yeah, shocking is the best word for them.

The Tenderloin Museum is proud to host a special celebration of this creator, who died too soon. This event will feature an introduction to his work and a Q&A with his sister, Melinda McDowell.
