Get ready for ‘Will You Be My Valentine’! Partnering with Coffee Meets Bagel, Dear Community brings you an electrifying love quest for singles. Three fabulous contenders are on a mission to find love in San Francisco. They’ll dive into a pool of potential dates, battling it out with questions and challenges to discover their perfect match. But it’s not just for singles! Everyone’s invited to join our audience and support our love-seekers. Plus, enjoy our bar, photo booth, and snacks as we fundraise for Dear Community!
Our Eligible Contestants:
Philip Vy:
Meet Philip, the Creative Director of Dear Community! When he’s not behind the camera at our events, you’ll find him in the gym practicing Muay Thai, the most powerful martial art in existence. After a day of hitting the punching bag like it owes him money, he likes to unwind and explore a new hike. Now, Philip is on a quest for a partner who not only can match his interests but can take a step back and enjoy the simple things in life. Bonus points if you can throw a punch correctly while he holds the punching bag for you. So if you like to stay active and enjoy the outdoors, then get your camera ready to document your experience.
Will Brega:
Will is a Dear Community board member and novice community advocate in San Francisco. He lives a very active lifestyle and is rarely home, constantly exploring the city for new things to do and places to hang out. His favorite way to wind down after a long day of work is by blowing off steam at the gym or playing video games with his friends. He is looking for a partner who is passionate and self-driven in their career and life in general. Someone who embraces adventure and can keep up with his busy lifestyle. A partner who is willing to listen to him ramble about random sports facts is a major plus. He’s excited to meet everyone at the event!
Lauren Ung:
Lauren is a native San Franciscan. She works as a data analyst and you can find her either coaching volleyball, working out, gaming, or sleeping. She’s a huge sports fan and is loyal to her Bay Area teams. She loves going to Barry’s, is trying to get back into the gym, and is picking back up golf. She has a lot of grandma hobbies like crocheting, baking, reading, and other miscellaneous crafts. You can catch her on CSGO, but if you want, she will play other video games. Lauren is looking for someone to not only be her partner but be her best friend too; someone who is passionate about their hobbies and beliefs and is willing to support and learn about her hobbies too. She wants someone that will challenge her to be her most authentic self but also push her out of her comfort zone from time to time. Let me just say, if you can game with her…this might be your in!! She’s a little nervous but also super excited to meet you!
