The show will include a special selection of guest musicians led by the two-time Latin Grammy-Award nominated composer Eddy Navia, founder of legendary Bolivian group Savia Andina.
Valverde Dance Ballet Folklorico is composed of dancers of different nationalities and backgrounds who all share their passion for the extraordinary variety of Andean dance forms, some of them never seen in the United States, which will be premiering at this unique event.
An Incan princess love story, a lost traveler in the mountains, and the unveiled secrets of carnival feasts in the Andean villages will enlighten the audience while the enchanting sound of native instruments will transport us imaginarily to ancient Andean celebrations of the “Kay Pacha”, the Incan concept of the earthy world, in the present time.
