Enjoy a fun and safe Halloween with your kids and family in San Francisco at the 7th Annual Visitacion Valley Festival Sunday October 28, 2012 from 10am to 4pm.
This year we’re celebrating a haunted harvest with a street filled with Halloween characters. A free events with bands, food trucks, goodies for sale, and a ton of hands-on arts activities. Kids, come as your favorite characters to march in the Children’s Halloween Costume Parade.
7th Annual Visitacion Valley Festival
Sunday, October 28, 2012, 10am to 2pm
Leland Avenue at Bayshore Boulevard, San Francisco
FREEThe festival features:
- free trick or treat bags (filled with popcorn) for the first 600 children
- bouncy houses
- outdoor haunted houses with themed areas (a ship, a castle, and “skull island”)
- kids’ hands-on activities (art project tables run by Scrap, Boys & Girls Club, Precita Eyes, Museum of African Diaspora, Geneva Car Barn, Waldorf School, Visitacion Valley Greenway, Sf Bee Cause, and more)
- live music and performances by Al Molina, Mugpush, Blue Diamond Belly Dance, SF Circus Center and many others
- local food trucks and grand opening of a new restaurant
- local arts and crafts
- a BMX show with a kids’ bicycle give-away
