Powerful visual storytelling by women of color in the age of #MeToo. Black Laurel Films’ juried film competition produced what Hollywood seems to ignore – fresh, interesting, and exciting narrative storytelling by or featuring Black women from around the world.
In two programs you’ll see the winners of the competition and hear more about the filmmakers and Black Laurel Films’ new ventures into a co-working space, film market, and national tour.
