A Virtual Taste of “TEL HI” Fundraiser

Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center (TEL HI) announced their first ever virtual gala fundraiser. “A Taste of TEL HI” will take place on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event will benefit the many programs TEL HI provides in direct services to low-income children, seniors and families.

Everyday, the center serves over 1,000 people whose ages range from three months to 100 years and represent a wide range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Through its 130 years, TEL HI has been operating on the frontline, lending support in major disasters including the Great Earthquake and Fire of 1906, the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic, the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and the current Covid-19 pandemic.

This year’s virtual event is complimentary and open to the public. Anyone who pre-registers has a chance to win a $1,000 Food & Wine Shopping Spree sponsored by Postmates.
