“Voices of Silicon Valley” Gala Album Launch Party

On Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 5 pm PST, Voices of Silicon Valley will hold a virtual Gala/Album Launch Party on YouTube to celebrate the release of Stockhausen’s legendary, avant-garde masterpiece, Stimmung, through the Orpheus label:

The great Stockhausen composed Stimmung around the time of San Francisco’s Summer of Love, which brings together a meditative, serial composition expressing different philosophies, traditions and religions around the world. No other avant-garde music piece captures the spirit of San Francisco Bay Area better!

We will discuss the multicultural and global impact of Stimmung with the distinguished composer, performer and multimedia artist, Pamela Z. We will also highlight recent VOSV projects – VOSV Ghost Ship Fire Memorial Concert and Sugihara’s Butterfly, which honors a Japanese diplomat, who saved thousands of Jewish refugees during WW2:
