There’s a beautiful pedestrian path on the side of that brand new span of the Bay Bridge, so David Cassel is leading a group of walkers on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10 am from the shorter Oakland West access route (where Burma Road meets Maritime Street).
Bring a camera because there’ll be some great photo opportunities.
They’re starting from the Oakland access, so the walk will be 3.7 miles each way (or 7.4 miles total). There’s free 2 hour parking on the street, so you won’t have to worry about your car while you’re enjoying the walk.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
