Event Details

Local Sirens: Women in Music Festival is a free, quarterly performance series featuring incredible local women musicians and performers.

With DJ Mashi Mashi playing for the night, come support and enjoy incredible local music and women artists – free admission! This is an all ages show.

This time, Local Sirens will feature San Francisco favorites:

  • Silver Shadows – Punk, hopeful Jung-gaze, post-propulsive Enya, “immersive non-hierarchal group vocals” with lyrical motifs of love, deception, geology, plastic. “Harder, less forgiving take on 4AD gauze.” Gibson SG, Juno 60. “Thanks for not mentioning The Cranberries.”
  • Mane – Post-punk, feminist, gothic, the bog. Garnet meets violet meets meatlocker.
  • Sirena Victima – Gloomy but enthusiastic poppy post-punk. Catchy and melancholic, they are the sound of (what’s left) of modern San Francisco punk. The droll sounds of Olympia noise-punk but filtered through the California sun. They have an EP called ‘Without Masters’ and are looking forward to recording their next album this winter.
