Event Details

The Water Safety Fair takes place on Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate, located at 435 Murray Circle in Fort Baker, Sausalito.

This interactive, fun, and free event for the whole family is a kick-off event for 2025 National Safe Boating Week, part of the National Safe Boating Campaign.

The Water Safety Fair brings together local and federal agencies focusing on boating safety, with boater education, safety and clean boating equipment giveaways, boat tours, hands-on skills practice, and search-and-rescue demonstrations. This all occurs with the picturesque backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge.

A kick-off event for National Safe Boating Week, the Water Safety Fair is hosted by U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12 (Sausalito-Tiburon), with support from Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14 (Central Marin) and Eleventh District Northern Region members.
