Event Details

Learn how to reduce water needs for seasonal vegetable gardening by learning how to grow “cool-season” vegetables to harvest all winter long.  Bring a 6” pot and take home your first promise of vegetable abundance. Offered by the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) and sponsored by the City of Hayward Department of Utilities and Environmental Services.

Frank Niccoli has been a gardener for over 50 years. He is the founder of The Village Gardener, Inc., a sustainable landscape design, installation and maintenance company located in San Carlos. He has written the curriculum and teaches numerous classes at Foothill College.
