“Wheel of Fortune” TV Show Tryouts & Prizes | North Bay

Want to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune? Here is your chance.

The Wheelmobile, a 36-foot Winnebago that tours nationwide in search of contestants for television’s #1 game show, is coming to the Graton Casino in Rohnert Park from noon to 4 pm on March 8-9, 2014.

They will begin handing out applications one hour before each show begins. Shows will begin at noon, 1:30 pm, and 3 pm, with each show lasting about an hour. There is no need to arrive hours in advance of the event. They will select participants to come to the stage and audition via a random draw.

“I won, I won…” Well, not so fast.

Wheel of Fortune is looking for good game players who are energetic, enthusiastic and fun, so get ready to ham it up.

If you are chosen, they will do a brief interview with each contestant on stage and play a version of the Wheel of Fortune Speed-Up Round. At the end of each show, all contestants on stage will be awarded a prize such as Wheel of Fortune hats, t-shirts and duffel bags – basically, everything you’ve ever dreamed of.

After the Wheelmobile event has been conducted, they will choose the people they believe will be the best candidates for the show (based on their overall performance on stage) to take part in a final round of auditions which will take place in the Northern California area within a few months.
