Looking to get involved with a local non-profit? Interested in giving back to your community?  Willpowered Woman focuses on empowering women. We educate the public to prevent intimate partner abuse and support women who have been affected.

Join us after work to relax and mingle with like-minded people around fun and delicious cocktails. You will find out more about our organization, our mission and how you can support us! Meet us at Dada SF on March 15th for a fun Happy Hour getting to know our Founder, Caitlin D’Aprano and to learn about our impact.

5:30pm – 7pm

Intimate partner abuse affects 12 million people each year in the US alone: learn the signs and ways to get self-empowered in your life through Willpowered Woman!

Women aged 18 to 34 experience the highest rates of intimate partner abuse, yet they are the most underserved demographic.

In 98% of intimate partner abuse cases, the partner controls finances so a woman is trapped in the relationship. Prevent financial abuse by always having an emergency stash of money, keeping bank accounts separate and having each partner take care of their own financial needs.

Abuse can come in many forms and is not only physical, it can be emotional and spiritual and the long-term effects of these are just as detrimental.

Forced pregnancy happens to 1 in 4 women in abusive relationships. Signs of forced pregnancy can be anything from rape to sabotaging birth control to your partner telling you that you don’t love them if you don’t want to have a baby with them.
