As a Seattle based band in the midst of the alt-country and folk dominated sounds of the Pacific Northwest music scene, The Good Hurt stand unapologetically apart from their contemporaries somewhere along the lines of pop, soul, indie rock and at times even alternative.

The band draws influence as much from The Red Hot Chili Peppers as they do from 1960’s English rock band, The Zombies.
