NIAD Art Center’s Win Win 9 Annual Benefit – the organization’s largest fundraiser – will take place online Saturday, March 6, 2021.
Featuring a silent auction with works by over 20 NIAD studio artists and a live auction featuring contemporary works from NIAD’s global community of artists, NIAD’s highly anticipated annual event has gained a reputation for offering something for everyone.
Each piece of NIAD art is an original work of contemporary art that tells an individual story from the perspective of an artist with disabilities.
Proceeds from the benefit will directly support NIAD and its mission to provide art studio space and programs for adult artists with developmental disabilities.
Featured auction works from artists include Colter Jacobsen, Sahar Khoury, Alicia McCarthy, Woody De Othello, and NIAD’s Marlon Mullen and Arstanda Billy White, in its live and silent auctions.
The 2021 Annual Benefit, Win Win 9 includes an afternoon of music, film, and quite possibly, dance. Highlights include opportunities to learn about activities in NIAD’s virtual studio, meet some of the NIAD artists featured in the screened films, and join in the excitement of bidding during the silent and live auctions. Ticket purchasers to Win Win 9 will also receive a NIAD artist original 6×6″ artwork and a digital party pack to be used during the event.
NIAD’s live auction, led by studio artists and staff, will stream online and provide guests the ability to bid in real time on auction artworks. The festivities will begin at 1pm (pst) with remarks from NIAD’s Executive Director and special guests. The Win Win 9 live auction will begin at 2pm and will conclude with final remarks.
