Wingtip, a super high-end men’s boutique is opening their flagship store at the gorgeous & historic original Bank of Italy building in the Financial District. Their grand opening is 10a-6p on September 27, 2012 –  a great excuse to shop for things you can’t afford, ship champagne, sample appetizers, try for door prizes, and more.

They’ve done a remarkable job of keeping as much of the 104-year-old interior in tact and creatively incorporating the old bank vault and teller windows into their design. Make sure to head downstairs and check out how they’ve turned the old safety deposit box area into their consultation room.

The “bespoke advisors” (aka the salespeople) seem pretty excited about the space so even if you can’t afford anything, they seem very willing to give you a little tour showing how they’ve adapted this historic building to be a super swanky clothing shop.
