Civic Center’s “Winter Park” Ice Rink Opening Ceremony | SF

The Winter Park at Civic Center, which made its debut last year outside of San Francisco’s City Hall, returns for its second year with an expanded track beginning Friday, November 22, 2019 and running through Sunday, January 5, 2020.

Free to watch ceremony; Ice Skating tickets are $18 adults / $13 kids

The T-Mobile Winter Park at Civic Center will open with a special ceremony to celebrate a new season of skating and holiday festivities in the heart of San Francisco.

The festivities will feature guest appearances from local dignitaries, special performances, a DJ and more.

The ice rink will be open daily from 12 pm to 10 pm through January 5, 2020, and regular admission tickets are on sale.

Free Ice Skating Day: Hip Hop For Hunger With 106.1KMEL

Friday, November 22, 2019 | 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The T-Mobile Winter Park at Civic Center and 106.1KMEL are teaming up to help those in need for the holidays. Join 106.1 KMEL’s Big Von November 22 from 2-7pm for Hip Hop for Hunger. There will be free skate admission* for the first 100 people to donate to the food drive. All donations will go to the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development organization. $10 admission (includes skate rental) for anyone who donates after the first 100.

*Minimum 3 item donation of canned or non-perishable food item required to receive free admission. One free admission per person.

First Responders Appreciation Days

December 2- 3, 2019 | 12:00 – 5:30 p.m.

Come out to celebrate the people who give their all — during the holidays and every other day of the year. The Winter Park is pleased to honor all first responders during the holidays. Each first responder, along with one guest, will receive free admission with proof of ID when presented at the ticket window. Each additional guest will receive $1 off admission. Advance ticket purchases are not available on Eventbrite; free admission and discounts are only available on December 2-3 at the ticket window.

Civic Center Plaza Holiday Tree Lighting

Wednesday, December 4, 2019 | 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

This festive lighting of the Civic Center tree features live entertainment, a toy giveaway, take and make crafts and goodies for the kids to enjoy.

Holidaybreaker

Saturday, December 7, 2019 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The global Daybreaker movement brings wellness, dance and community together to help people start their day with energy and intention. Join the Holidaybreaker yoga and dance party and let it all out – on and off the ice. Tickets are $20.
