Psychedelic Practitioners, let’s build community under the redwoods
About this event
Dear Women + Non-Binary + Queer individuals who hold woman or femme as part of their identity,

We invite practitioners who work with medicines or aid with psychedelic preparation and integration to come connect with us! Please join us to build community whether you are credentialed, licensed, trained as a coach, energy worker, MD or Therapist working with Ketamine, or identify as an underground or indigenous healer and are actively practicing.

We’ll be gathering for a casual meet and greet under the Redwoods.

August 28th from 1-4 PM

RSVP by August 26th. All attendees must be registered for a ticket in the event of the need to contact trace and for a head count.

You are asked to please donate $10-15 to help cover the cost of space rental and snacks (ie: fruit, nuts, veggies). Please venmo @olivia-clear at the time of ticket purchase. If costs are covered, profit from the event will be donated to the Shumi Land Tax.

Individually wrapped snacks will be provided but please bring your own water bottle or drink. There is also a water fountain on site to refill bottles. If you have dietary preferences or restrictions you are also welcome to bring your own snacks.

LOCATION

Redwood Bowl Picnic Area at Roberts Regional Recreation Area

-Redwood Bowl has four 10-ft, 1 – 20′ table. There is plenty of space to spread out!

-There are restrooms on site with running water and a water fountain with a spigot.

-The site is shady and uphill.

-Parking is 300 yards away, so it is a couple of minutes walk from the parking lot.

-Parking is free at the nearby lot unless it fills up. In this case, there may be street parking or there is a lot at the main entrance of Roberts (approximately 1/4 mile south on Skyline) that charges $5 via cash or credit card.​

Directions: Hwy 13 to Joaquin Miller Rd, go east uphill, turn left on Skyline Blvd. Roberts is 1 mile up the hill on the right. From Hwy 580 E take the 35th Ave exit. Make a left onto 35th Ave. Continue uphill. 35th becomes Redwood Road. At Skyline Blvd, make a left. Stay on Skyline Blvd for one mile and make a right to stay on Skyline Blvd. Continue up the hill one mile, Roberts is on the right.*** This site is not located in the main park area of Roberts Park, but further north on Skyline Blvd.

Please tune into your inner guidance surrounding whether to join us for this event with the current COVID-related concerns. As we know, COVID-19, is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact.

If you choose to join us, please verbalize your boundaries with others and honor your safety needs and those of the group. Plan to bring a mask in case it is needed. If COVID continues to spread and in-person gatherings are recommended against, the event will be cancelled via email (through eventbrite) and all donations will be refunded.

This event will be held in a large outdoor space so there will be plenty of room to spread out. There are picnic tables and you are also welcome to bring a blanket or folding chair if you would like additional space. As we connect, please use care when considering your safety and the safety of the community. You are kindly asked to refrain from joining us if you have been sick or have been around someone sick recently.
