Event Details

E4TT explores women’s immigration and identity in a multimedia chamber music concert featuring new works by:
Juhi Bansal (setting translations of landays–women’s poetry from Afghanistan);
Vivian Fung (for found-object percussion and bass flute);
Pamela Z (for violin, cello, found-object percussion, and tape),
and the winner of the E4TT/TAC multimedia student composition competition.

The culmination of E4TT’s latest commissioning project, “Women Crossing/Liminality,” is the group’s sixth collaboration with the SF Conservatory of Music Technology and Applied Composition (TAC) Department.

Pre-concert talk with Pamela Z and Vivian Fung at 7 p.m.

Performed by E4TT (pianist Margaret Halbig, cellist Margaret Chartier, with percussionist Haruka Fujii, violinist Lylia Guion, soprano Bryana Marrero, flutist Stacey Pelinka, and SF composer-performer and media artist Pamela Z)
