A walking tour to honor the many women who have contributed to San Francisco’s legacy.
Discover Lady artists, scientists, revolutionaries, and generally impressive dames who have influenced San Francisco. “Wonder Women of SF” is a series of walking tours to honor the many women who have contributed to our city’s legacy. Each tour is unique, visiting a different neighborhood and sharing stories about a different group of amazing women.
This edition strolls through North Beach and surrounding areas, introducing you to some of the city’s earliest entrepreneurs, civil rights advocates, artists, and writers. We’ll walk nearly 2 miles along a path that’s mostly (but not entirely) flat. Please contact us in advance if you have accessibility concerns.
