Word Week 2021 “Noir NOT at the Bar: Cherchez la Femme”

One of the most popular literary events is Noir at the Bar. This year, unfortunately no bars, so we are presenting “Noir NOT at the Bar” online with four terrific writers of mystery novels—Noe Valley’s own bestselling novelist Cara Black (THREE HOURS IN PARIS) and three of her literary friends: Jasmine Aimaq (THE OPIUM PRINCE), Rachel Howzell Hall (AND NOW SHE’S GONE), Naomi Hirahara (CLARK AND DIVISION).

They will read excerpts from their latest books and share one of their favorite cocktails. You are invited to listen–and drink–along with them. A white Russian for Jasmine, kir royale for Cara, dark & stormy for Rachel, and hakutsuru sayuri junmai nigori for Naomi.
