Every first Friday, WorkshopSF hosts an open house / party with DIY, art, fun and community. It’s a chance to preview classes, see the space, and just hang out with neighborhood peeps! We welcome all, and our activities are all low cost or free / donation-based (Cash Only).
Join us for our June First Friday, where we’ll be making beautiful hand-marbled cards using the Japanese “suminagashi” technique, which translates to “ink floating.” We’ll provide all the supplies and basic instructions so you can create your own swirling patterns of ink on water, then transfer them onto paper cards. Use your creation as a unique greeting card or keep it as a standalone art print! We’ll also have free button making for Pride Month!!
