As an artist, Leonardo da Vinci represents the new “Humanist” attitudes of the Renaissance – a shift in focus from God as the solution to an awareness of the possibilities of the world to “Man” as the solution. These ideas were expressed in the era’s art, architecture and fashions.

Join us on May 2, the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, to explore the change in fashion as reflected in art and period costumes.
