Are you eager to compost but have no space and fear the smells? Consider vermicompost made with only paper, food scraps and worms. If compost is gold for the garden, vermicompost is platinum. It takes less space, has little odor, is better for plants, and costs almost nothing to make. It can even be done inside the house. Bring the whole family and discover the how’s and why’s of vermicomposting. Kids will love the worms and the hands-on experience! Santa Clara County Master Gardener and Master Composter Terry Andre will present on this topic.
