Event Details

Christine Germain & Dancers present Writhing Letters, a performance that will move through the library with props that represent literacy: books, notebooks, newspapers and a typewriter.

Members of the audience are encouraged to walk through the space and place themselves where they wish, becoming part of the work: they are performers, and they are the observed as well as the observers. The performers, the readers, the librarians, the bookworms, future bibliophiles, and even the illiterate all share the space and are part of the performance.

Two half-hour performances at 2pm and 4pm.
