Yappy Hour at Jaranita in the Marina District

At Jaranita’s new Yappy Hour, $1 for every cocktail purchased between the hours of 4:00 to 6:00pm on Tuesday will be donated to Muttville, a senior dog rescue center that offers cage-free facilities (first in the nation), a foster program, on-site veterinary suite, and hospice program. These innovations that have been lauded and emulated around the country have rescued 9,243 dogs to date. In addition, Jaranita is partnering with Miska Dog Boutique for a monthly raffle giveaway featuring dog treats with a tender meat pate inside of a thin and delicate glaze made from freshly squeezed vegetable juices. The unique and healthy treats are crafted by hand in our kitchen in San Francisco.

Some of Jaranita’s happy hour bites include Cebiche Clasico catch of the day, classic leche de tigre, red onion, and sweet potato; Cebiche Mariscos catch of the day, shrimp, squid rocoto leche de tigre, red onion, and sweet potato; Coliflor roasted cauliflower, black mint sauce, roasted peanuts, and queso fresco; and Empanadas: Pollo (chicken stew); Veggie (Peruvian corn and cheese); Carne (flank steak, raisins, and onion). Signature drinks include the Jaranita Rita Sabe-Tequila, pineapple, lime juice, and agave; Nikkei Sour citrus sake, lime, egg white, and angostura bitters; and Zen-Gria sake, red wine reduction, orange juice, and lemon.
