Please Note: The specific ConVerge series is no longer taking place at the YBCA, but we encourage you to still come out to the Yerba Buena district every 3rd Thursday for special events at YBCA and neighboring museums.

The YBCA:ConVerge series is a free monthly public gathering featuring creative and generative social art practices.

Community and innovative multi- and inter-disciplinary arts practices come together in the YBCA’s Grand Lobby and Room for Big Ideas with art, live music and curated performances in an interactive, experimental format. Cocktails are available for purchase.

Cancelled – YBCA:ConVerge Monthly Art Gathering | SoMa

Come celebrate the new year with us at YBCA’s ConVerge: Mapping Us-Un-Frayed…Viva SF Arts, a unique gathering of local arts leaders, brought together in a communal conversation around the present art and cultural ecology and the possibilities for its future.

The dialogue will include the following local organizations/artists YBCA Executive Director Deborah Cullinan, Art Practical Director Patricia Maloney, and artist Brontez Purnell. There will be live DJ music and performances to add to the fun.

Each organization will have the opportunity to express what they value in their partners and other organizations in the arts community. In this dialogue and collaboration, we can create a strong network based on shared values and support where we can all collectively contribute to SF arts in the years to come.
