Join and celebrate the opening of Curatorial Research Bureau, an exciting new partnership with California College of the Arts and Bureau for Open Culture.

The new bookshop, learning site, exhibition and public program is sited at the Mission Street entrance adjacent to the Grand Lobby. CRB is the new home of CCA’s Graduate Program in Curatorial Practice, chaired by art historian and curator James Voorhies.

Peruse this one of a kind bookstore, enjoy a cocktail, music, meet the students and faculty, and get the opportunity to learn more about the Curatorial Research Bureau.

Guests are also invited to visit the current gallery exhibition Bay Area Now 8, YBCA’s signature triennial of Bay Area-based artists, and featuring the works of CCA alumni Sofía Córdova, Rhonda Holberton, and Woody De Othello and current faculty Sita Kuratomi Bhaumik, Josh Faught, and Urban Works Agency.
