Event Details

On Saturday, February 17 from 1-5 pm, join for a celebration of Lunar New Year and the opening of the exhibit, Year of the Dog. Also, during the exhibition, come with your dog for a chance to be photographed and posted on their Facebook page as “Dog of the Day.”

This fun exhibit features canine themed art work by local artists.

The opening reception will feature live music by Joshua Brody, a performance by singer/songwriter Skate Stone, poetry by Frank Andrick, and refreshments will be served.

The exhibition features the work of photographer Eva Sacher, painter Barbara Oplinger, mosaic artist Delaine Hackney, media artist Rikki List, printmaker Rhonel Roberts, and painter Ashley Siemon. The work range from whimsical takes on pets, to observations on human behavior through a furry lens. Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash please.

This is a kid friendly and family friendly event and exhibition. Exhibition runs Feb 11–March 22. Gallery hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday from 11-5 pm or by appointment.
