Stress and its physical manifestations (e.g. tight neck and shoulders, trouble sleeping, headaches, racing thoughts, low back pain, poor digestion, etc.) are pervasive in this fast-paced and demanding world. Additionally, many of their community members have expressed post-election stress.
Please join them for a workshop focused on developing useful strategies for combating stress and increasing vitality.
In this workshop they will:
- Discuss common stress triggers and their impact on the mind and body
Learn simple techniques to reduce and manage stress: yoga, breath work, mindfulness practices, guided imagery, self-massage, etc.
- Learn strategies to promote greater vitality, boost mood, and become more stress resilient
- The workshop will conclude with a singing bowl meditation and creative writing exercise to destress.
