Event Details

The Journal Building Artists will support SF Youth of Color through art scholarships and community. This mural is in collaboration with African American Arts Complex Center and youth artists will help build momentum for collecting contributions towards the scholarship fund.
The mural will function as an evident and moving testament to the need for this support for Youth of Color. The scholarship will be raising funds to provide 200 SF Youth of Color with a kit of art supplies.

Founded in part by the California Arts Council, through this event we are looking to raise more funding in addition
collecting donations of art supplies

We are looking for very specific materials:
Sketchbooks,
Markers,
Watercolor sets
Acrylic sets
Paintbrushes
(New or like new)

We have raised $6,660 and we are aiming for a goal of $10,000. To donate you can use our donation link here: https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/MTA4MTM0
All proceeds will go to the SF Youth of Color Scholarship.

So come out and experience some music by ArtisLife (DJ Set) and art from JB artists and more!
