Event Details

Freespace Pop-Up Community Center

Freespace is a pop-up community center focused on hacking the civic experience. It is hosted in a 14,000 sqft warehouse in S0Ma, San Francisco, envisioned and implemented entirely by you.

Freespace was originally just a one month project, but it was extended to two months thanks to successful Indiegogo campaign. They’re now open periodically (check their schedule). They host a wide array of events and projects like classes, music, art, silent discos, yoga, a free bikeshare, community engagement and field trips, and more than a few silly costumes.

Head to Freespace to get together to make good old fashioned zines. The focus will be on art, music, and poignant political issues in SF, but it’s open to anything your heart desires.

Come and cut, paste and copy your wildest dreams, and bring them to life, rather than just posting them on the interwebs.
