Win Tix: Not Your Normal New Year’s Eve

“Not Your Normal New Year’s Eve” is a comedy night that takes place at the grand Herbst Theatre with live music and a big balloon drop at 10pm (since this is when midnight is in Normal, IL), so you can enjoy a great NYE night out, but still head out to a bar to celebrate midnight in SF.

The show features a big line-up of comedians including Brent Weinbach and Kevin Camina and the chamber pop duo Foxtails Brigade.

• JILL BOURQUE brings audiences into her hilarious world of modern mayhem and off-kilter characters..
• KEVIN CAMIA won “The Golden Shingle” award as most outstanding rising stand-up star at the 2009 Rooftop Aspen Comedy Festival. Around town he’s known as the “comedians’ comedian” with his tightly written material, dry wit, and laid-back “tell it like it is” style. .
• NATASHA MUSE is not only the winner of the 2010 “Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition” she’s also guaranteed to be at least the second-funniest transsexual you know..
• ALEX KOLL has performed at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, garnering a “Best of New Faces” nod, and appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham.”
• STEVE LEE is a fresh new voice in the San Francisco stand-up scene. He performs in comedy clubs and festivals in San Francisco and Hong Kong, receiving high praise on both continents for his off-beat brand of humor.
• Hosted by LIZ GRANT who was a writer for George Carlin’s Laugh.com, a winner of The Brian Regan Impression Contest, and this year will begin touring with her successful one woman show “How To Fail At Dating And Relationships.”
• FOXTAILS BRIGADE will play a live set. The group  is Laura Weinbach and violinist Anton Patzner who present an ornate kind of chamber pop where intricate violin arrangements are anchored by Laura Weinbach’s exquisitely played classical guitar and pitch perfect vocals.
