2024 “Kids Rock” Free Outdoor Summer Concert Festival (Redwood City)
Redwood City proudly presents its beloved Kids Music Series for the eleventh consecutive year! MCd by Redwood City’s own, Andy-Z, the Master of Music and Play, this series brings high energy and tons of fun to both kids and adults on Courthouse Square! Kids Rock! happens on June 30 with Andy Z and the Andyland Band, on July 21 featuring Lori & RJ, and concludes with Asheba on August 18.
Sponsored by Redwood City’s Public Library and Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, this series provides a safe and fun environment for kids to dance and enjoy live music. About Andy Z and the Andyland Band
Andy Z is a multiple award-winning children’s performer, singer/songwriter, and educator who combines music, movement, storytelling, and colorful characters to create an experience that keeps kids engaged and families entertained. Andy’s performances have earned him rave reviews and high-profile appearances on the Pandora Video Series, and Pottery Barn Kids Stylehouse website.
His Andyland Band has been featured at events including Austin City Limits Music Festival (TX); Strings Music Festival (CO); Facebook Scare On The Square and Family Day Events; San Ramon Art & Wind Festival; Marine Science Institute’s Earth Day on the Bay; Filoli Estate Family Night;
along with the long-running Redwood City Events series – Kids Rock! plus Almost Mother’s Day. Andy’s music has been heard on NBC’s Today Show and has received many accolades, including Disney’s iParenting Media Award, Parent’s Choice Foundation Award, National Parenting Publications Award (NAPPA), and Tillywig Top Fun Award.
