Alameda County Fair | 4501 Pleasanton Ave., Pleasanton, CA
The Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton runs from June 23rd to July 11th, highlighted by the Fairs’ spectacular fireworks display Friday night July 1, 2011. Best viewing location is from the Grandstand area. Fireworks show to start at approximately 9:30pm.
About the Alameda County Fair: The fair features live pig races (and horse races, too), over educational exhibits, two free concerts nightly at 3,000 seat Amphitheater, a full carnival, yummy food (like chocolate covered bacon), roller derby and AgVenture park where you can experience simulated cow milking, pony saddling and the kid’s corn box play area.

* Seniors FREE Thursdays
* Fair Food Drive – June 27th bring just 4 non-perishable food items for FREE admission into the Fair. Food Drive to benefit Alameda County Food Bank.
* Military Appreciation Day – July 1st all those with a valid military I.D. receive FREE admission along with one guest. Veterans are welcome.
