The longest running poetry slam in Northern California, bringing you some of the best poetry from across the world, every week, since 1999.
It’s their final show of the year before they take their holiday break so it’s time for the 4th Annual Anarchy Slam, with guest host Mighty Mike McGee.
For this event only, there are no rules. Want to do a cover poem? Go for it! Interpretive dance? Sure! Juggle on stage while drinking a beer?
“Mighty” Mike McGee is a well-traveled funny hobo-poet from San José, California. He is the first poet to win both the 2003 National Poetry Slam Grand Championship and the 2006 Individual World Poetry Slam Grand championship. McGee is co-founder of the live spoken word groups Tons of Fun University (TOFU), The Whirlwind Company and the Electric/Junkyard/Elephant/Kite Revivals.
