Santa and his tree may get most of the pub, but the the Festival of Lights can thrown down some seriously fun events too.

Not only is there a 25-foot-tall menorah and festival in Union Square for Chanukah 2012, but there’s also a kosher beer party, a festival in Ghirardelli Square, a tasty “latkepallooza” that takes us through eight days of crazy nights.
